The Table

The centre piece is a combination of balloons, a mask and an antique china clown doll.
The black and red setting was meant to symbolize the infamous 'harlequin'.

The Guests et al

Finally a picture of my best friend Cynthia. The Cat mask was bought
especially for her.

Jim dressed for the occasion in a rather colourful shirt. The balloons you see
on the ceiling were scattered throughout the living/dining rooms. As the evening
wore on, when they lost some of the helium, they flirted with the candles (often
with predictable results), the people and drifted throughout the apartment.

Yes, that's me.

I convinced Izak to wear his white tux jacket, a stunning addition
to his 'Phantom of the Opera' mask.

It looks like Izak didn't quite know what to make of Jim, and whatever
 was so amusing.

Deb and Al - the queen and king of the Mardi Gras!

Ron's grand entrance - also dressed for the occasion . . .

. . . as was Genevieve!
